The consortium for E-DESIGN – European Digital Education for Social Inclusion and Global Neighborhood is composed of seven very diverse organizations from six different countries: ZAUG and CodeDoor from Germany, CEPROF from Portugal, EILD from Greece, CIP from Cyprus, CSC from Italy and Kauko from Lithuania.
The partnership is composed of organizations with complementary knowledge, skills and competences necessary to complete the project activities. It includes organisations that are strong in digital education, the development of ICT training material and methods and the implementation of such trainings as well as in reaching out to the target groups and developing supportive offers tailored to the target group’s needs.

The Centre for Work and Environment Giessen is a non-profit making vocational training company and education provider founded in 1988. ZAUG offers career guidance that comprises counselling in the fields of professional qualifications and information on the regional labour market and education market, application training, job- and general skill profiling, vocational training opportunities, qualification and employment opportunities for youth and adults living in the city and county of Giessen within the frame of support programmes that aim for reintegration in the labour market focusing on socially disadvantaged groups, such as refugees and migrants.

CodeDoor
Project Partner
is a non-profit organisation that offers coding scholarships to socially and economically disadvantaged youth and helps them to find a job. CodeDoor is active in 8 large cities in Germany and has started their first branch in the UK. They have trainers from all over Europe (e.g. Norway, Austria) and they have built a large network in the refugee and migrant community amongst non-profits, local communities and socially engaged businesses. Some of their main distribution channels to reach these groups include Joblinge gAG, Red Cross, Diakonie or the Jobcenters.

CEPROF is the owner of Escola Profissional de Espinho, a VET school, and it was created in 1990. Its vocation is the promotion of school centres and vocational schools. It aims to contribute to the personal and professional skills of learners, preparing them to the job market. It promotes the approach between schools and enterprises and provides learning opportunities according to the local and national needs. The main focus areas of training are the ones related to the Tourism sector, to support the demands of this Industry in the coastal regions from Aveiro and Porto. The focus in technology is also very strong, especially in Mechatronics and Electronics to support the heavy industry region of Porto-Gaia-Ovar. The students are encouraged to participate in contests to present innovative ideas which enable them to develop creativity and entrepreneurship.

Being accustomed to the use and development of ICT technology, e-Learning and m-Learning, EILD has created web-platforms, including courses and training, addressing students who would like to build their creativity and knowledge, as well as skills and competencies, in order to become future entrepreneurs. Centre for Creative Development “Danilo Dolci” was established based on the experience of social and educational work carried out by Danilo Dolciand his collaborators, which started in Eastern Sicily back in 1952. The Centre stemmed from the need of offering the local communities a reality committed to practically solve the problems raised during regular meetings held with people, and in 1958 it was renamed as Centre of Studies and Initiatives for Full Employment, with the purpose of promoting economic and social development of the local territory.
At present, the Centre for Creative Development “Danilo Dolci” is a non-profit association involving young people and adults, which mainly acts through projects in the educational field carried out in cooperation with schools, universities, institutions, associations and social groups both at local and international level.

(Kauno Kolegija - University of Applied Science) is one of the major professional higher education institutions in Lithuania and provides first cycle studies awarding a professional bachelor’s degree in the areas of technologies, biomedicine, humanities, social sciences and arts. Kolegija actively contributes to implementing the state regional development policy – studies are delivered in 4 faculties in Kaunas and divisions in 3 regions (Kedainiai, Druskininkai and Taurage). Kauko is a member of different international networks and an active participant in EU and other international cooperation programmes.
